ACLU Indiana tracks bills through the Indiana Legislature and recommends to citizens which bills should be supported and which should be opposed. They file lawsuits to defend Indiana voting rights. Their Yes, You Can Vote campaign educates citizens about the voting rights of people who were previously incarcerated, are transgender, are students, or are disabled.

Common Cause Indiana and the League of Women Voters of Indiana co-founded the 25-member Coalition for Independent Redistricting. Common Cause sponsors training programs, rallies, and other events as part of the Coalition’s ongoing work. Citizen engagement in redistricting is promoted through the Citizens Redistricting Commission. Common Cause Indiana also lobbies and rallies opposition to voter suppression legislation.
