The groups listed below work to bring these values to life. This means not only equal voting power in determining the outcome of elections, but it also means more representation in the legislatures that make our laws, set our budgets, and determine our priorities.

The Indiana Muslim Advocacy Network lobbies and mobilizes public opinion against voter suppression and for State legislation supporting positive civic engagement. They offer candidate and office holder forums to help engage and educate their community, and they hold voter registration drives, publish voter education guides, and lead Get Out the Vote campaigns using calls and face-to-face communications to mobilize the Muslim vote.

Indiana Stonewall Democrats conducts voter registration campaigns that include door-to-door canvasing and phoning to promote registration. They recruit and endorse candidates as part of their election-related activities. They invite new dues-paying members and identify four local affiliates chapters that also welcome new members.
