While State and Local League Chapters must follow certain rules and guidelines, the reality is that the energy level and talents of local volunteer leadership largely determine what and how much gets done by any Chapter. Individuals considering volunteering or donating should understand that each local League Chapter is distinct and look at the virtues of a particular one when considering options to support or volunteer. In addition to the League Chapters listed below, many other groups of pro-democracy women are active in Indiana.

The League of Women Voters of Indiana worked in partnership with Common Cause Indiana to create the Indiana Coalition for Independent Redistricting. The League is also a founding member of the All IN 4 Democracy Coalition. All IN 4 Democracy works in support of the Indiana Citizens Redistricting Commission. The Commission is intended to show that a balanced group of citizens can draw districts that would serve the public interest better than districts drawn by politicians. Volunteers may become actively engaged by joining the organization and participating through a local league – all listed and linked below.
