Indivisible Pennsylvania Chapters
Indivisible, started after the election in 2016, has grown to include thousands of locally led groups in nearly every congressional district. Some Indivisible groups appear to maintain private Facebook pages only, and those have not been included in our state-by-state collections of groups. Prospective volunteers and donors should evaluate individual groups on their individual merits. While Indivisible started many groups in Pennsylvania, most of them for practical purposes are virtually indistinguishable from Independent Pennsylvania Grassroots Groups.

In their 2020 No Excuses Philly
program, they phone banked, text banked, and sent half a million postcards encouraging vote by mail. They are continuing these activities in 2022. They have also initiated two new projects. One, the “Neighborhood Canvassing Project,” aims to reach infrequent and non-voters sooner and more interactively than traditional canvassing. The other is the “35 Doors Project.” It recruits volunteers to go to the doors of 35 neighbors several times over the year to encourage them to engage in democracy and vote.
