PromotingDemocracy.com is transitioning to a new structure. The centerpiece of the site, activist groups in 17 swing states, was created for the 2022 midterms. It has not been comprehensively updated, but we believe most of the information about activist groups remains correct, and so the page should still be useful for the 2024 elections. Any organization listed on these pages may request changes to their posted information if some of that information is out of date. See Voting Activism Is Spreading Across the Nation >>
Much of the rest of the information formerly on
PromotingDemocracy.com will remain useful for several election
cycles. It has all been updated and expanded and posted to a new
site: StrengtheningDemocracyNow.com.
Some of the sections and pages will remain accessible via redirects from the dropdown menus above. If you use the dropdown links, you will go to the updated pages on StrengtheningDemocracyNow.com.
If you want to go directly to all StrengtheningDemocracyNow.com pages, the links below will take you to the full collections: Strengthening Our Democracy Now, Protecting Our Homes & Communities, Building Cooperation, Becoming a More Effective Activist, Fundraising for Democracy Activism, and a collection of more than 200 national organizations supporting pro-democracy activists.
